How to format a book with Atticus | Atticus Formatting Step-by-Step Tutorial

Tutorial Begins: 2:26
Book Upload & Details: 3:00
Formatting Set-Up and Theme: 6:15
Editing the eBook Formatting: 9:02
Print Formatting: 23:20

Before we start this tutorial, here is what you need before you get started:

What you need BEFORE you upload:
-Finished file. DONE. Edited. Proofed. You have it practically memorized it has been copy edited so many times. Speak now or hold your peace. The book is done.
-ISBNs assigned. Not required, but in my opinion, this should be done. You need this for your copyright page. You are asked to fill it in for the book details. You can go back to add later. But just have it done.
-Book Cover for the eBook. You’re going to make a separate file for the eBook and the Print so use the same cover for both, just label them correctly.
-Patience. Pack your patience folks. Give yourself time to do this. Don’t rush. You may have to come back to this later, but don’t start this 20 minutes before you have to pick up your kids from school.

@AtticusWriter

Is Atticus worth it for formatting my book? Is it easy to figure out, because I’ve got a lot to do as an indie author?

These are the exact questions I had, and I’ll be answering them in today’s video as well as another one that I’ll publish shortly. But first, let’s see what we need to do in order to format our books in Atticus.
