Mary Kate Williams was raised in Philadelphia, PA, but now calls the sunny west coast of Florida home. After completing her B.S. in Economics at Drexel University, she explored different careers in insurance and higher education before landing in sports marketing. Throughout her years in the corporate trenches, she kept her dream of writing alive and self-published several science fiction novels under the pen name M.K. Williams. She has a thriving YouTube channel detailing her author journey. Williams reads voraciously and writes speculative fiction. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter when not reading or writing.
