The House on Hurley Pond

When I started writing Enemies of Peace, I had initially planned to call it The House on Hurley Pond. The house that is featured in the book becomes a character and the plotline moves around the house and how the Lawson’s adapt to their new surroundings. While the title wasn’t available, the narrative remained intact with the house taking a key role in the story.

I am so thrilled to announce that Lydia Marie Elizabeth, one of the top upcoming illustrators and designers, has brought the house to life!

It is so amazing to see the place that has only existed in my mind become a real home in this illustration. For those of you who have read the novel, this will hopefully match what you had been envisioning. For any of you who still haven’t read the story yet… what are you waiting for?
