If you are a social media influencer and you want to make money based on your own experience, knowledge, and products, then self-publishing a book can be a great opportunity for you.

Imagine how your business could grow if you could sell your own product. Social media influencers have been able to live all of our dreams, right? We see these images or videos of them at a winery and they sip different champagnes as the sun is setting is perfectly styled outfits. Or they get to travel the world. And we know they get to do it all “for free” because they are advertising to us. This is a sweet deal, but it is A LOT of work to constantly produce high-quality images, content for social media, content for their blogs, and vlogs, and all the things. They have to source and negotiate with each of these brands. The money that comes in can be small to start but it can grow.
So why, with everything on their plate, would they want to write and publish a book? I’m glad you asked:
People are already following and engaged with their content. If they are doing well as an influencer it is because they are providing a unique point of view to their content, visual as well as written.
They are selling someone else’s product. If those business folds or has a massive PR issue or has to cut their marketing budget, their income could be gone for reasons out of their control.
They already know how to promote.

So if we look at all three of these factors together, we see that they are poised to produce and put out their own products. Now, as an influencer, they may have exclusive deals with apparel and lifestyle accessories so they may not be able to create and sell that. But, they can write a book. This can be a how-to book on how to become an influencer, how to travel the world in style, or other non-fiction content that is related to their channel topic. Also, they are having amazing experiences that could inspire a novel about traveling the world or a romance that happens to feature some of the experiences they have had as an influencer.
