A Goodreads giveaway is part of an overall strategy to keep the book present of mind for readers, to get them excited. So I am reinvesting some of my advance for Fake Out Make Out into a giveaway. Since this book is traditionally published, I can’t do the eBook giveaway; I don’t have access to it. But I have a limited number of paperbacks, and I CAN give those away. So I set one up.

It was very simple to do. Right from the author dashboard. The book description pulls in. You can set up to 150 characters of a giveaway description, so I said “Enter to win one of two paperbacks before it is released on March 2.” And I was able to geofence this to the US, where that is true and where shipping won’t be crazy expensive. Sorry Canada.

Yes, the ebook and audio are available everywhere right now. You can go listen and read. But the paperback is only available in the UK right now. It releases in North America on Mar 2. You can pre-order it if you want. And then if you win the giveaway, you have an extra copy to give to a friend.

The payment goes through Amazon. So you need an active Amazon account. I have my business credit card saved in there for all the author copies I’ve ever had to buy.
