So it was either late July or early August when this change was made but we indie authors now have access to add A+ content to our books. This kind of content is added graphics and content to help sell a book. Traditional publishers and other products on Amazon have had access to this for a while.

But now we indies have access to it. I’ll have links below where you can look at the details from KDP and there are a lot of other videos popping up on YouTube on the topic. This is new for us indies and in general, we’re all learning as we go. I’m not convinced adding this is going to help sell my books as much as not adding it will detract from my book page.

I’m going to walk you through how I am creating these for my book The Infinite-Infinite. I have photoshop and I use that for my YouTube thumbnails and book covers. I was fiddling with these image sizes and I just couldn’t get it to work. So I switched over to my BookBrush account and it was so easy to use. I”ll show you how in BookBrush. I’ll be doing a video with Kathleen in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for that.

Took about 48 hours to get reviewed and approved. I got a confirmation email for each marketplace it was approved on. As more people have been using this I’ve noticed the wait time go up.

I’ll keep posting updates on how I’m optimizing and using this tool. What have you learned so far? What have you found?
